As a long-time Samsung user, I've been following the evolution of the Galaxy Fold series with great interest, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the device that finally feels like the true realization of Samsung's foldable vision. It's a leap forward in both design and functionality, and it's a device that truly impacts my daily life.
My primary use for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is work and productivity. The larger, unfolded screen is a game-changer for multitasking. I can have a document open on one side, a web browser on the other, and my communication apps in a pop-up window. This setup allows me to research, write, and collaborate more efficiently than I ever could on a traditional smartphone. The new Galaxy AI features, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, take this a step further. I use the generative photo editing to quickly touch up images for presentations, and the AI-powered note-taking and summarization features help me organize my thoughts and prepare for meetings.
When I'm not working, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is my go-to device for everything else. For streaming and movies, the 8-inch main display is simply stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look incredibly smooth. I also use it for gaming, and the powerful processor handles even the most demanding titles with ease. The improved, thinner, and lighter design of the Z Fold 7 makes it comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions.

I love how thin the phone is and how light the phone is. The brightness is impeccable. The camera update is just as good as my one plus open.

S22 Ultra to Z Fold7 - Absolutely Revolutionary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a long-time Samsung user, and after years of sticking with the Galaxy S series (most recently the S22 Ultra), I decided to make the leap to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. I can confidently say that this upgrade has been nothing short of incredible. The Fold 7 feels like the perfect blend of power and innovation. Coming from the S22 Ultra, the Fold 7 takes the mobile phone experience to a whole new level. The main display is stunning - bright, smooth, and truly immersive. Having the ability to unfold the device and transform it into a near-tablet is a game changer, especially for multitasking, reading, and streaming. I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate the larger screen until I started using it every day. Samsung has clearly refined the hinge and build quality, and it feels both durable and premium in the hand. The outer screen is also practical, letting me use the phone quickly without always unfolding it. Performance-wise, the Fold 7 doesn’t miss a beat. Apps run fluidly, multitasking is seamless, and the software enhancements for split-screen and app continuity make the whole experience smooth and intuitive. Battery life has been surprisingly solid given the larger screen, and charging is quick enough that I never feel limited. The cameras may not reach the exact versatility of the S22 Ultra’s zoom, but they are more than capable, producing sharp, vibrant photos that are improved with the use of Galaxy AI.
