I was skeptical whether the Elite All-in-One Vacuum Sealer would work as advertised but after using it now since I purchased it in April 2026, it's been great! It is a learning curve at first, but once I got it figured out, I have had no problems. You do need to wait between once a bag seals before placing another bag in to vacuum. The directions say wait 30 seconds, so, make sure you read the directions thoroughly before using. I usually wait about 45 to 60 seconds now because the sealing strips get really hot. I use it mainly on the dry setting, and I have used the moist and liquid setting, and no problems.
When I purchased this back in April I got it on sale and the price was too good to pass up with all the extras that came with it. I have used everything except the wine stopper.
As for any negatives, I would say that I wish the bags were a thicker quality plastic.The vacuum seal rolls came with some wrinkles in the plastic, so, it makes it much more difficult to get a good seal. You have to pull tight on both sides of plastic and hope you get a good seal. Maybe there is a better way, I don't know yet.

The 5-cup Marinate & Preserve container I like so much that I purchased more of these. These are great to have, and no problems with them.
Anyway, I give the vacuum sealer 5 stars! This is the first full size vacuum sealer I have purchased. I have the hand held type sealers. I also have the current version hand sealer, and it's been great, much better than Food Saver's previous versions.
The two 11" x 10' vacuum seal rolls work but they are not a thick enough plastic for my liking, so, for these, I give them 2 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second time I am sending a vacuum sealer back to the mfg. this produce does not work either , all it does is click when plugged in: None of the buttons work
The first item received did the same thing and food saver mailed me another one after I proved it did not work
I will be returning this and seeking a refund

I bought this one a month ago. I’ve been with food saver for over 30 years after owning this one and another one before that three months ago I’ll never buy another food saver again. It’s the worst equipment I’ve ever got from him.

I used my original Foodsaver so much more than I expected to (for many years). When it just didn't work one evening, I immediately ordered this one that I'd been eyeing for a while. There are some differences that I am still getting used to, it's awkward to hold the bag upright and use two hands to close the lid. I do love the pulse button. We usually throw away half of every package of sandwich or hot dog buns. With the pulse button, I can seal and freeze them without smashing them. Whenever I froze them before, they would dry out and get freezer burn. I use my sealers most frequently to reseal snack, frozen veggie, and salad bags. I can keep a bag of chips fresh for weeks. I'm looking forward to being able to use it to freeze some homemade soups in the fall. I like that there are buttons for more categories of food. My original just had a moist button. I also often use the marinade function with the Foodsaver containers.
