You out of box is simple and it's construction and easy to assemble. It's construction has been the great saving feature from my poor phone that is dropped more off of that I can think, nor care to admit.

Possible defects with new case rubber push button

The last otterbox for my Galaxy s22 ultra lasted many years until the rubber worn out.
The new case rubber tab that powers up the phone takes several attempts to get phone to power up.
The phone will eventually get up but aggravating 😒
I think this is a defective push button on the case rubber, but I can get it working after several attempts.

The case has protected the phone so far but the belt clip doesn't stay on my belt and the phone pops out of the holster about every other way.
