Well-built and has strong protection, but not as good as the Ultra Defender that we purchased for the Note9 a few years back. The internal protection does not seem as good, the shock absorbing material was thicker in the older model.

Pretty standard Otter Box fair. Where this one falls down is the power button needs to be recessed or material built up around it. I carry my phone in my back pocket. Invarabily the button gets depressed a bad things happen. I have used Otter Box for years on many phones and have always been happy with them. This one is the first that has let me down.
