Great case, not slippery, great protection and quality. Phone itself is gigantic so case makes it even harder to fit the durn thing in a coat pocket but such is life. First world problems.

Will not stay in holster

As usual all good things come to an end. Loved my old Otterboxes except for the last two i have purchased. This S22 ultra is the worst yet. Kept falling out of the holster till finally today my screen cracked. Only had it for less than six months. Seems the cases went bad about the time they stopped including screen protectors. Oh well, will have to find something else. I can't carry my phone in my pocket(it's too big) and the old ones did not have the holster issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there! We're so sorry to hear that. We know that can be a frustrating experience. Though our cases are tough, there are some variables that can't be accounted for. When using that holster, did you try situating your phone into it with the screen facing into your hip? This can help keep things more secure. As far as the built-in screen protector goes, our engineers determined that it would hinder the use of your phone's touchscreen. To provide the best experience possible, we opted to remove that.
Our warranty extends strictly to the case itself, as that is the product that we manufacture, but please give our CS team a call at 1-855-688-7269 and they'd be more than happy to set you up with a replacement holster to make sure everything is up to par.

Miss the old lifeproof

Quality has declined since otterbox bought lifeproof. I bought this case and it sucks to get your phone in and out of. This instructions are terrible. I should not have to youtube instructions on how to get my phone in and out. It should be simple and easy and quick. Buy something else.

Drop from a rooftop. The protection don't stop!

While on my second-story roof I leaned over to pick up a tool my phone slid out of my jacket pocket and sailed off the roof, smacking into the windshield of my car and sending the case and belt holster flying in separate directions.
Expecting both a shattered phone and a cracked windshield I was shocked to find that not only was my windshield undamaged due to the slight give of the case material but my phone was also completely find. No cracks, no dents, no damage AT ALL. The case and holster are still both in perfect condition.
While I hope to never be in another position to test an Otterbox Defender in this manner, it certainly did it's job this time!
