I have natural curly frizzy hair. The temperature gets hot enough, but the problem I'm having is it doesn't close down tight enough so you have to squeeze it down. The rubber on the tip gets so hot. Make sure you are using the glove provided.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was gifted my original Babybliss over 10 years ago and the past few years iv noticed the heating element was not consistent anymore. This new one behaves beautifully, I can tell the difference in the evenness of pressure on the hair and the stable heat setting. After using it the first time I received an compliment my hair looked like I just got a hair cut.

Hands down one of the best flat irons. I have tight coily hair. I was impressed at how straight and naturally shiny my hair was after using this tool on braided, wavy, air dried hair. I didn’t even have to use a ton of products to get my hair straight which was amazing!
