Basic, but cooks well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect from an electric grill to be honest. I've never used one before, so all I can compare it to is propane and camp grills. It heats up fairly fast, but doesn't really heat up beyond 400 degrees, therefore things cook a bit slower than what you may be expecting. I appreciate that it still creates char and grill marks though and I've been able to achieve the steak, grilled chicken, and kebabs I've been missing out on. It's super renter friendly, compact, and a great solution for places where you're not allowed to have a traditional gas or charcoal grill. I found that I could fit 4 large filets or 6 kebabs comfortably on the grilling surface. The assembly process is a tad brutal and took me about 2 hours. The diagrams are relatively unclear - things like labeling the screws by number or letter would have been helpful and you definitely need a lot of patience or two sets of hands to place the glass piece in the lid. It just felt unnecessarily difficult when it came to directions. Highly recommend searching for the YouTube video showing assembly. Otherwise it's a solid little grill and gets the job done!
