Pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the mower; from the quite hum of the brushless engines and smooth ride to the stress free reassurance of no more seasonal maintenance on a gas engines, replacement of belts, or oil changes. I have converted! Never again will I be bothered with anything except a Greenworks product. Best of all, I am slowly collecting all the tools I need, and have all the batteries I need.

This mower is easy to use, great fun, and works great. It would be nice if the grass chute was easier to take off when using the mulcher attachment, the chute has a hinge pin with a one time use star washer retainer, this could be switched out for a bolt and nut.
Also, the battery chargers would be improved if they could be wall mounted, and each charger is 10 amp rated, so pay attention to what circuit you run them on. I havent tried it, but if you ran all 3 on one circuit it should trip your 15or 20 amp breaker.
Would be very cool if there is an aftermarket suspension seat available.

Very Sturdy, alot better than I expected, I cut just about .75 acres and have 57% battery left. Took a few minutes to get the hang of the zero turn bars. Charger works well, but need to put them in numerical order to avoid error codes. Be careful when ejecting batteries or you might lose a finger nail. All in all, I would highly recommend this unit if you are considering a zero turn mower.

Ideal Size and quiet

I bought this after years of push mowing a half acre lot. I now mow my lawn and both neighbors on either side for about an acre and a quarter total with about 30% battery Left. Super quiet particularly on low blade Speed and was able to adjust the handles and seat for comfortable use (6' tall big guy). Slips a little if the ground is a bit soft so if you have slopes give it 2-3 days after a rain. Also using it with a couple tow behind items and it handles well

I’ll admit, the error code the mower threw after one donut in the driveway scared me. But I was impressed at the transparency and immediate attention I got after emailing customer service. Made themselves available after hours to help get the code cleared. Simple really. Then back on and mowing. Simple operation, convenient carryall in the back, easy assembly and no gasoline/burnt oil smell when I got done. Only 4 acres in so far but enjoyable. I hated mowing grass until I got the Greenworks zero turn 42”.

Good look finding replacement blades. Even the parts department can’t figure out the part number for the blades. Don’t hit anything, will probably be a few years before you can find replacement blades.

In the meantime, the blades may be sharpened! Touch-up sharpening can be done with a file. Check the blades for balance following grinding. A commercial balancing tool is available through most
hardware supply stores, or balancing can be done by placing the blade on an inverted line punch or 1/2" bolt. The blade should not lean or tilt. While spinning the blade slowly, it should not wobble. If the blade is out of balance, tune it up before reinstalling. Lay the blade on a flat surface and check for distortion. Replace any distorted blade.
You may also take this to a qualified technician to complete this task.

Great product, can't get replacement blades

This worked great until I hit a rock and needed a replacement blades. According to the service line, they are back-ordered out to a month, making this very expensive purchase useless for a good portion of the summer. Great products should be serviceable in a timely manner.
