My new favorite toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 80V zero turn mower with bagger has left a clean cut and no leaves. The bags filled faster than I expected but I'm getting better at anticipating how much is enough.

Bagging leaves.

Update after using bagger accessory for autumn leaf removal. Love it. Maybe not quite as thorough as a high powered leaf blower but so much easier and quieter and it gets the job done. The mower blades chop the leaves so some of the pieces fall down into the turf. I found that if there's a thick layer of leaves then running over the yard with the bagger chute removed and the mulch plate installed and then re-installing them for a second run creates a much finer mulch suitable for garden beds. It also means I only need to empty the bags twice instead of 6 times. The chute and mulch plate are easy to swap on and off with just a philips screwdriver and small pair of channel lock plyers. The two bags are easy to remove and empty. Just keep an eye on the transparent section of the chute, and as soon as you see the leaves swirling around the bags are full. If the chute does get clogged it's very easy to unhook and clean out. Also the plastic hood over the bags doesn't really need to have the strap engaged every time as it stays fully closed even when the bags get over-filled. BTW, it's probably much less effective if the leaves get wet, so I'll mow them 4 or 5 times in the fall if rain is frequently in the forecast. I still use an electric leaf blower to get them away from trees and shrubs, etc, and for cleaning off the mower before putting it away.

I can’t say enough good things about this mower. I hate to do yard work but using this mower makes it fun,it’s a pleasure to use. I have had it a couple months now and I love it. You can use it without hearing protection it’s so quiet. I had a cub cadet 42” hydrostatic drive before and I don’t know if it’s the blade design or the blade speed but it cuts so much better then the Cub Cadet. This is a great product. I hope to get many years of use from this mower. Thanks Greenworks 👍👍👍
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful

I bought it a year ago and only had issues with it. On the second round of repairs, wished I never bought this big paperweight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best purchase I've ever made for yard care.
Quiet according to my neighbors and I can listen to music without headphones.
The batteries are long lasting.
I love the mulch plate. I didn't think it would mulch that well without bogging and stalling but I was wrong. It's fabulous and smooth and the lawn looks gorgeous. I wish I had installed it in the spring which would have saved me from kicking clumps of grass or hauling a blower up and down my big yard.
My grandkids love to go for rides(with blades off of course) so that's a bonus. I put a booster seat between my feet to protect their bottoms.
I was thrilled when I learned I don't need to use all 6 batteries at once and still mows my 39,000sf(130'x300') yard. Battery charge decreases faster at full speed as expected but my yard is bumpy so I go at medium speed with 4 batteries with no problems.
I love the compatibility with my other tools. I load my trimmer and chainsaw in the cart or at my feet and drive to where I'm working and just swap batteries as needed.
I've also noted that when I park it after some usage, when I start it the next time the batteries have charged a little while sitting. Approximately 10-12%.
Ive only drained it completely once just as I finished. The blades auto shut off at 5% leaving me plenty of time to get her parked. Great timing and fabulous feature.
The lights don't seem to draw any battery it seems so that's nifty.
I love the towing features. I got a lawn cart to move logs and branches and am impressed with the load it can bear and how easy it's making my life.
I'm sure I could go on but suffice it to say I'm a huge fan.
My only wish would be a plug for charging inside the battery housing instead of removing them as they are heavy for my aging hands. I do like how easy the release buttons are to push though.
Also I'm pretty sure my ditch is greater than 15% and aside from mowing dewy grass with a little slippage I've had no problems whatsoever.
I can't say enough good things about this mower.
Ps. I use to mow with Scags and Cub Cadets for a living and I wouldn't trade my GW for anything.
Next spring I'll get pics and update

Love the mower

Very quiet I've used it every week. It does an excellent job on the lower blade speed. Hills are not a problem. The only thing I would suggest is that it should have some sort of brake as I turned the key off when I was on a slope and the mower took off with no way to stop or steer.

Zero turn made my life easier

I bought the zero turn back in April 2023. I had ankle surgery in March and by the time I was able to get out a little bit. This has save me a lot of aggravation. I have 2 acres and my garden is far away. Not being able to walk good. I park my mower I garage . I use it like a motorized wheel chair every day. The front hitch is great. I have a trailer hooked up. I can drive around , pick up sticks or cut low branches and put in trailer . Since my garden so far from water outlet. I put barrel on trailer. Use my 60 v greenwork inverter. Small pump plugged in. I can spray flowers and vegetables within an hour. Saving me from having to walk. Totally satisfied with all my greenwork products
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe
