Agréablement surprise de la qualité du son de cette Micro-chaine. Qualité/prix exceptionnel et sans oublier lecteur CD pour 5 disques! Demande peu d'espace d'installation.

Fm radio doesn't work

Paid a bit more than we normally would because we wanted it to last, but no such luck. Purchased from BestBuy in February 2024, radio stopped working properly a few months later. I contacted Sharp and they wanted me to ship it to them but no, I'm not pouring more money into it. No more Sharp products for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the third Sharp unit I have had. The first two units had problems skipping and changing discs without direction. Best Buy replaced them without a problem. I bought it because it was one of the few on the market with a 5 disc tray, This unit I have had beyond the warranty period, so I'm stuck with it. Lately, it has been coming on automatically w/o warning and playing at FULL volume. The last time was last night at 3 AM! I have unplugged it. It is piece of junk!

IMPRESSIVE! - Sharp XL-BH250 5-Disc Micro System

I must say I am quite critical about my gadgets & gear so, I went for this not expecting to be overly impressed.
That being said - I have put it through it's paces & everything works as advertised.
Some have complained about it being difficult to set up & program but I suspect they would have a hard time changing a lightbulb or replace the batteries in a remote.

I cannot speak about the reliability of this unit however, for less than $230 I'm impressed with the quality of sound this small bookshelf stereo puts out.
So impressed I gave this 5 stars & that is extremely rare.

I definitely recommend this so far & if anything goes wrong in the future - I'll try to get back & do an update.
