I've had a Waterpik 580 for 3 years now. My original finally gave up the ghost. I orderedd a replacement but had to return it on 2 weeks because it became defective (wouldn’t pump). Replacement arrived and its going gangbusters.
I cannot live without a Waterpik! I have gum issues before purchasing my first ones years ago and my gums dramatically improved! My dentist was ready to send me to a Periodontist and by the next visit, he said that was no longer necessary! I even travel with it too!
Good, but could be better. Runs out of water quickly, and it's impossible to drain completely without removing the water reservoir from the unit. But I'm getting used to it and hope it's helping my dental health.
The portable flosser is well-made and nice to be able to carry in a travel bag, but the highest level is not very powerful, and the water reservoir is small; I need to refill it in order to use the flosser on all my teeth. It does not come with a wall charger, which should be standard in a device meant for carrying on trips.
What I like- the ease of using the rechargeable system, and many available colors as well as its small size. What I’m on the fence with…seems like it needs recharging more than I thought it would (2-3x/week) and maybe it could be a more stronger stream. Overall, happy with the fact it’s portable and feel It’s very effective.
After finding out the the life of a waterpik is 2 years, I order a new one. I was disappointed. It must hold half the water than my previous version even though it looked about the same size because I had to fill it up twice to the same cleaning. I also noted the water pressure is lower but fortunately I was able to select a higher setting
It’s good but the water dribbles down my arm. Still trying to figure out how to keep that from happening.
I would recommend this to a friend!
