The water reservoir is impossible to remove. The power is so light (even on high) that I need to floss after using. Returning it.

Hello SidMur - We're sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the WP-580 model. To remove the reservoir, slide the reservoir release latch to the unlock position and then slide the reservoir down towards the base of the unit. I just got the Waterpik out of the box and tried to charge the device. It will not charge and I can not recommend this product. I am taking> am sending it back. Also, this product does not come with a battery charger. A lot of money for nothing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not impressed. It doesn't hold a charge very long. It's super clunky/awkward to use. Had I seen it in-person before just buying it online (pics are deceitful) I wouldn't have bought it. I just didn't care for the "tank" systems with the cords.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems the product would be good, but it only worked twice. Stopped charging and couldn’t get it to work again!

Bulky for people with small hands. It does an excellent job at removing plaque and food particles. My teeth around the gums feel so smooth and clean. My dad bought the same model after hearing me rave about my WP-580. I'd buy again.
This unit is powerful and convenient. I find myself using this model more often than others I've owned being that it's easily accessible and always ready to go with little to no hassell. It's attractive and takes up very little counter space. I really like the many attachments that come with the WP-580. All in all I've found this to be the perfect Waterpik.
I've been using floss only most of my life and have to use a threading system to get under a bridge which is always a pain. I've had "black triangles" at the gumline between teeth for many years. I asked my dentist about these and he says it just happens with time and age and the only thing they can do is put in small fillings to cover them. Also, my dentist said I wasn't doing a good enough job cupping my teeth with the floss to remove bacteria. So I started cupping my teeth more and noticed that the triangles got bigger! So I stopped flossing completely for two weeks and those black triangles all disappeared!!! Frustrating!!! It was floss that was causing this! I jumped on the internet to look for a floss alternative and found that the American Dental Association states that a strong water flosser is as effective as normal flossing. I purchased this Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 and it's been a great product! The charge lasts a long time, the water output on high is very strong, and it's super easy on the gums (I have sensitive teeth and gums!). I usually have to fill the reservoir twice to do the outside and inside teeth on my upper/lower jaws. Highly recommended to use reverse osmosis or distilled water so you don't have to do any descaling (the process to descale is in the manual). Don't cheap out and buy an off-brand product that's NOT accepted by the American Dental Association. Get one, like this product, that is!
