[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound is top notch as it scared my dogs when it was talking during activation... adding it to the app was also super easy just like the installation process! Beeps loud and clear the entire house was alerted during the testing!

Easy Installation & Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The was installed within minutes and was super easy! We installed in our garage since we have others set up in the house. Thankfully, it has not gone off but I am confident in the brand! It does give me a greater peace of mind when my husband is in the garage working on cars.

WiFi Mandatory? Unclear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Physically attaching it to the ceiling was pretty easy, but the instructions were quite vague about installing it without connecting it to WiFi and the Ring app system. I would prefer to not use the WiFi feature due to EMF concerns, but the instructions didn’t give a clear answer on if this is possible. I’m assuming the ring app has a walk through of the set up process, it would be nice to have a paper version of that as well.

Happy with Kiddee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always liked Kiddee products and currently use them in my home. This fire alarm integrates with our ring system, which gives us notifications! Installation was easy, it only takes two batteries and I was able to easily install it. The most important part to me was that it also detects carbon monoxide.

Good concept but not a necessity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the idea of this smoke and carbon monoxide alarm: however, don’t think it’s a necessity and works best when you install multiple units throughout your house—typical of ring products. Also, not a fan of another WiFi thing in my house—especially one that I won’t generally need real time connectivity for and will bear an alarm at the same time I get a notification. I haven’t tested the alarm because I have a baby in my home, but I would guess it performs as well as other fire alarms. I placed on my main floor near the kitchen and going up to the bedrooms where I believe the most smoke/carbon monoxide risk to be, but after installing (which was not the easiest per my husband) I feel that near our bedrooms would’ve been better.
That said, I like that it gives peace of mind when I am away from home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can monitor this alarm on my ring app. It's not expensive but seems like a great value. I love that it also detects Co2. Makes me feel safe. Especially the fact it will call the fire department for me!

Handy smart smoke alarm with carbon monoxide!

At first I have to say it was challenging due to the instructions being kind of confusing. However afterwards when its set up its perfect! I love that it is linked to my ring app. If you have ring app ypu don't pay the extra fee per month like it tells you, this service is already included. I feel betteraboit having this be installed in my house and being vacation. Stress less about what is happening at home with this product.
