Expo Dry Erase Markers are worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Expo Dry Erase Markers are simply the best in the business, and I say that as someone who uses whiteboards daily for teaching, brainstorming, and project planning. They consistently deliver a flawless writing experience that makes other brands feel like a compromise.
What makes them shine:
1. Unbeatable Ink Flow & Consistency:The ink glides onto the board effortlessly, laying down bold, vivid lines every single time. There's no frustrating skipping, fading mid-stroke, or requiring multiple passes. From the first mark to the last, the flow is perfect.
2. True Erasability (The Holy Grail!):*This is where Expo truly excels. Erasing is a dream. Marks vanish completely with a simple wipe using a standard whiteboard eraser or even a dry cloth. No stubborn "ghosting," no smearing, and absolutely no staining of the board surface. My whiteboards look pristine after every use.
3. Vibrant, Opaque Colors:Whether it's classic black, bold blue, essential red, or bright green, Expo colors are rich and highly visible. They stand out clearly from any distance, making presentations and notes easy for everyone to read. The color selection is also excellent for organizing ideas.
4. Low-Odor & Reliable:While there's a faint, familiar marker scent, it's significantly less pungent and chemical-smelling than many competitors. They are also incredibly reliable – I rarely experience a dud marker, and they last a surprisingly long time even with heavy use.
5. Durability & Build Quality:The barrels feel sturdy in hand, the caps snap on and off securely (reducing the chance of drying out), and the chisel tips are resilient, maintaining their shape well for both fine lines and broad strokes. The fine point options are equally precise.
6. Widely Available & Trusted:Knowing I can easily pick up a pack at almost any office supply store, big-box retailer, or online gives me peace of mind. Expo is the trusted name for a reason.
The Bottom Line:
Expo Dry Erase Markers are worth every penny. They eliminate the frustration of poor ink flow and ghosting, saving time and keeping your whiteboards looking their best. The combination of effortless writing, perfect erasing, vibrant colors, and reliable performance makes them the undisputed champion of dry erase markers.
If you're tired of subpar markers that let you down, switch to Expo. You'll immediately notice the difference in quality and never want to go back. Highly recommended for classrooms, offices, home offices, workshops – anywhere a whiteboard lives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are actually really nice. Easy to work with and very good quality. The packaging is nice. I would buy these in the future for sure. The tip is very strong and doesn’t seem it will go bad quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are such a great idea! I have a lot of water prop plants and these are perfect for writing the names of the plants on the container and makes changing those labels super easy if necessary since you only have to use water to get it off!

Best wet erase markers
on June 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used these wet erase markers before. I typically use them for work when I need to write on a white board.
The packaging is great, easy to open, and store. The quality of the ink is great and isn’t streaky when you erase. The color is super black, which I love because it makes it easy to read.
I love the fine point tip as well because it makes my handwriting look *chefs kiss*

Smudge free and sharp
on June 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Expo Wet Erase Blue Fine tip markers are great! They are smudge free, permanent when dry but easily erasable when you add water, it’s the best of both worlds! This marker works great on hard plastics, glass, and other non-porous surfaces. My favorite part about it is the fine tip, the color is always vibrant and leaves a sharp mark!

Crisp, Reliable, Just Needs the Right Surface
on June 26, 2025
Posted by: dustinlee330_9790
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently stocked up on the Expo Wet Erase Fine Tip markers (12‑pack, blue) for use on laminated planners and hard-surface calendars—and they’ve been a solid choice overall.
Why I Like Them:
• Sharp, detailed lines thanks to the fine tip—ideal for cramped calendar boxes or labeling bins .
• Ink stays put until you wipe with a damp cloth—no accidental smudges or ghosting .
• Non-toxic, odor-free, and safe for daily use around kids or stuffy spaces ().
• Leftie-friendly: dries quickly enough to avoid smearing—even with a left hand or casual handling .
Where They Fall Short:
• If left too long, the ink can be stubborn—requiring a scrub or extra wet cloth to remove completely

Cool idea but what a mess they make
on June 26, 2025
Posted by: tabbyd6_2354
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the idea of a dry erase marker that you need water to remove because you don’t have to worry about smudges or anything. However, the marker itself seems very structural and like it could last a long time, but when it dried, I actually had to. Erase it all again because I had thought something rubbed against it only to find out that’s just how it dries and it looks terrible. It also makes a huge mess when you go to remove it with water.
Response from Expomarkers.comBy EXPO® Consumer CareJuly 3, 2025
Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience with the EXPO Wet Erase Markers.

We're glad to hear you liked the concept of a marker that resists smudging, that’s exactly what wet erase markers are designed for.

However, we're sorry to hear the dried appearance didn’t meet your expectations and that the removal process was messier than you had hoped. The ink should dry clearly and remain in place until wiped with a damp cloth, so if it looked distorted or left a mess when removed, that’s definitely not ideal.

We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement, both in performance and user experience.

If you have anymore feedback, please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time.

Thank you!
