I bought this vacuum for my small apartment works decent on the hardwood floors and in the advertised videos she's vacuuming carpet this does not do rugs or carpet at all. The second it touches the rug it powers off. I have a lot of rugs so I just wasted the money on a vacuum I can't even use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't recommend

I bought this with high expectations. We mostly have wood floors throughout the house and no pets so I thought this would be the perfect fit. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver and picks up the light debris we produce fairly well. Unfortunately the battery life is terrible on high speed. We found that high speed provides the most effective suction. Unfortunately on high speed the battery life is minimal. I had to go out and buy a larger battery that will allow us to get the work done that is required. I think the unit should be sold with a higher capacity battery.

Works great! Has more suction than my other stick vacuum and the upholstery tool works much better. I like that it has a detachable battery.

I purchased 7 months ago for area rugs. Suction is ok, not the worst not the best. Battery life is terrible. I don't use it frequently but always clean it out after each use. Today It stopped working. Such a disappointment and huge waste of money.

Absolutely horrible on hard floors. Dog hair just gets pushed around into a pile and dust gets shot out the sides. The battery life is very short

I wouldn't recommend

Disappointed with this vacuum. I've only had it a year and it won't vacuum up anything. Advertising said for pets and I have a cat who is a messy one. Now when I pick it up or move it the litter just falls out. This was way to expensive to only get a year.

Great vacuum!

Great vacuum especially for the price! Had way more expensive vacuums that had a lot less power than this one, and in a house with multiple pets you need power!
