Been using this for a few months. Headset gets hot and stuffy after a few hours. The battery is also not that great, I generally get about 8-9 hours of game play with it before it needs a charge.
Corsair managed to nail something that most other brands try but fall flat in some area or another, which is create a near perfect headset.
Pros - Comfort/weight (cloth earcups help your ears breathe, not super light but far from heavy, no pressure on the top of your head) - Speaker quality (great out of the box, incredible with some EQ adjustments, no detail lost in highs, mids sound solid and can have pounding bass if you adjust it so) - Microphone quality (really, this makes even headsets that cost $100 more sound like garbage)
Cons - No dedicated mic mute button (this action is done by flipping the arm vertically) - Ear cups don't slide (head adjustments are done by adjusting the top head band strap)
Headset less then 3 months old started falling apart. This headset has an issue with the ear covers coming apart quite ofter. The sound is great except NO noise cancellation and very limited in way of features. Great battery as well. Way to pricy for not even having BlueTooth I personally wouldn't recommend this set base on just the build quality and poor quality control.
The volume is far too low and most games, movies, and services like Discord are barely audible. I'm done trying to figure this out, and after a lot of frustration, I have pretty much resigned myself to accept the $200+ loss on a crappy product. However, Tit for Tat! In return, I promise that I will refrain from buying any new Corsair products of any kind, for the next 5 years minimum, regardless of sale prices and/or 5 star reviews.
Really good headset for its price. As a headset that is. The downside is that the glue keeps coming undone 1.5 - 2.5 months in the lifespan. Common issue as I've since checked reddit and other sites. Support will send a new pair of earcups but not sure what they do once the warranty ends. I guess in a 8 months I'll have to buy a brand new headset.
Great mic, default sound is meh, ICUE app is trash

SO the mic sounds amazing (that is what the people in my online chat keep saying).
But, the default sound is meh, and I went online to find decent settings for the EQ, but they always fall short and I feel my Astro a20s and my Hyper X Cloud II always sound better.
But what got me to return the heaset is: 1: The clamping force is too much, uncomftable pretty quick and I game for LONG sessions. 2: The software you are supposed to use for them is straight up trash (Corsair ICUE). It keeps crashing and I can't even get to change any settings most of the times because it crashes before I get where I need to be.
