I am a Doctor and i bought it to work with a EHR health electronic record for palliative care patient visits. For this purpose is an excellent choice. Light weight and easy to use it.
Loving every single minute of this beautiful machine! So easy to use, and so simple, I imported everything I had saved within seconds and I was able to get to work in less than 5 minutes! I will be buying more from your company. Don't be afraid to send me discount coupons, I'm all for upgrading!
This is my second Asus laptop, the first a Windows 10 unit, this time a C24MA Chromebook. This is also my first Chromebook. I connected my C24MA with an external portable display via the USB-C port (display) and USB-A port (power), and both function flawlessly. In fact, the colors match better between the Chromebook and portable display than when using my Lenovo ThinkBook (2023 version) and the portable display.
One drawback I note is that when dragging windows in the portable display using the C424MA, it is not as smooth with this version of Chromebook than with either my Lenovo ThinkBook (Windows 11) or HP Spectre x360 (Windows 10).
The keyboard on the CM424MA is superb as to feel and responsiveness. The trackpad on the CM424MA is also superb, accurate, with fine touch.
Another drawback has to do with Google and its "Play" app, which continued to stop so many times I had to first, disable it, then remove it altogether. Problem is that now I have no access to the Google Play Store. However I will not attribute this to the CM424MA as it appears to be a Chromebook OS and/or Google Play issue.
Integration with my Android cellphone is superb, and I expect integration with Android and Chrome to continue inching closer together. In time we will have a new ecosystem similar to what Apple is doing with its iPhone, iPad, and MacBook operating systems.
As this is my first Chromebook, there is still a learning curve for me to go through. I look forward to learning the Chromebook OS as much as, if not more than what I do with the Windows OS.
