Thin,Light,Well Built

I've had this Chrome Book for about two weeks and have fallen in love with it. Good battery life with a fast recharge time.This is great for surfing the web.I do on line banking and shopping with my ASUS Chromebook.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ideal day to day device

This was the first Chromebook I'd purchased for myself, and after using it, I bought two more for family!
Pros:
- 14" matte display, works well even in sunlight
- display hinge is 180 degrees, perfect for use in any position
- has traditional USB(-A) ports and USB-C ports
- has headphone jack and SD card slot
- battery life is 6-8 hours of video and productivity use
- keyboard is very nice to type on, good key locations
- great single app performance
- plenty of storage and memory

OKs:
- webcam quality is mediocre
- speakers are a little quiet
- not heavy but not lighter than an equivalent size laptop
- Celeron CPU has trouble multi-tasking

Cons:
- the touchpad coating is "sticky" and has some deadzones along the sides

We own three, and I still may not be done buying these. We can take them anywhere without fear of losing data (synced to cloud or all saved on the SD card), they sync really well with our Android smartphones and Google Home, and I use the Linux venv heavily. One lives in the kitchen and houses our digitized recipes and plays music while we cook. Great little workhorses!

Awesome features

I bought this computer two days ago and I love it. It’s amazingly awesome. I thorough it’s just a chromebook but it’s not and full of a word of experience.

Surprise gift as my tablet was not supported. I prefer Chrome instead of Fire for ease of use. No problem seeing characters now,

Picked up my new Asus Chromebook and put it right to work. Upon opening, I noticed the excellent fit and finish on the case, not too light and not too heavy. Immediately, I was impressed by the remarkable graphics for this price point. This Chromebook comes complete with 4 GB memory, 128 GB storage, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (Supports Display/Power Delivery), 1x 2-in-1 SD Card Reader, and 1x 3.5mm Combination Audio Jack. It has everything one needs to study, shop, stream, and game. This reviewer is receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.

Low cost for what I need

I just needed a laptop to use for google sheets. Since the chromebook comes with sheets set up on it, this is perfect. Small and convenient to take with me.
