The water does seem to taste better, but the family size does not feel like a family size water tank, I'm constantly having to refill it. I also feel like I'm wasting water that I have to throw away from the refill tank every time I refill it. Not sure if it can be used to water plants but from what it said maybe not.

Great water filter

It does a great job filtering water, but needs to be refined frequently as the supply water tank doesn’t completely empty due to the process it depots the impurities into the supply tank.

Not a lot of bang for your buck. When you fill the reservoir with unfiltered water and it finishes it’s filtering process, you have to dump out the remaining unfiltered water before refilling (per the instructions) which is 1/3 of the original amount. Basically you don’t get very much filtered water each time and you dump out and waste a decent amount of water. Seems like a waste for this very expensive device!
Also all the reservoirs are plastic :(
