Our first one is now 5 years old, with a couple tank replacements and regular filter changes in that time. This model has been important enough to our health and enjoyment in everything from coffee to pasta to drinking enough water through our work day for all these years that we bought a spare to keep ready should our sturdy boy wear out. No signs of that yet, truthfully, we just wanted to be prepared and get a good deal during the holidays.

Overall good product. I do wish the tanks were a bit bigger as my spouse and I find ourselves refilling it 2-3 times a day, on average. 1-2 refills would be the sweet spot, imo.

I absolutely LOVE my AquaTru water filter. Literally will never go back! I feel so much better and cleaner drinking water from this. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting one! I literally bring bottles of my AquaTru filtered water with my to work and anywhere I travel. I won't drink any other water.

Quality of the water is excellent. Concerns: bad set up instructions (didn't say to do a reset. . . nor how); 2) if I have to wash containers every time I use the machine, I use more water than the (excellent idea) RO is saving (compared to other RO machines).
