Simple to use, Great taste.

The set up was simple; lots of pictures and clear words. The flavor changed for the better in brewed coffee & brewed loose-leaf tea, most noticeably, and vegetables cooked in water. Ice cubes are clear, not milky. With only 2 in the house, it works. A family would need to train several members to use the water filter and have a storage pitcher or another reservoir for high use times of the day. A simple way to cut your exposure to many toxins we encounter daily.

Great & easy to use

After having a few reverse osmosis filters installed under the sink, and every time we moved we had a problem uninstalling and installing at the new place, this water filter was a life safer. It's great. It's free of PBA & other replacement chemicals, like bisphenol-S (or BPS)- which may be just as bad. I only wish it refilled itself.

Convenient source of great tasting water

I was concerned about the regular cleaning process, but it's not that big a deal. Just do it faithfully. When minerals begin to build up on the sides of the tap water tank, I fill it a little above the backwash water line (where most of the minerals are) and let it sit overnight. In the morning I pour the used vinegar into some jugs and keep reusing it for subsequent cleaning (so long as it still gets rid of the minerals). For the usual weekly cleaning I use hot soapy water.

Amazing price for reverse osmosis

To get a reverse osmosis unit that is so small for counter-top use that doesn't waste a ton of water is awesome. It's quiet and easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that the lid on the back container (the unfiltered container) doesn't come off. It makes it awkward to maneuver into the and out of the sink not sure why it was designed the way it was with the handle inside the lid. Washing out that container is very awkward and it's hard not to bang the lid into the faucet and sink, which worries me that it will break soon. The water tastes like water that has nothing in it. So you do need to add electrolytes/minerals back in.

Beyond Fantastic Water Filter

We have owned several good water filters in the past but Aqua Tru is by far the best filter we have owned for the combination of cost/quality/ease of use! It takes up little counter space, it is easy to fill and use and the water tastes great! We have already purchased this filter for a family member and we recommend it to everyone that sees it in our home! Thank you Aqua Tru!
