My family loves the taste of the water

My family loves to fill up their water bottles when visiting, they can taste the difference when drinking the pure water. I feel better knowing that our water is cleaner and safer for them to drink. I love how easy it is to refill.
As far as I can tell (not testing my water or being an expert in toxins, etc) this system is really good for supplying healthy, filtered water. I don't like the taste as much as unfiltered or Brita-filtered water, and the mineral drops make it even stranger- maybe it just takes more time to get used to the difference. I wasn't expecting the amount of maintenance it takes, rinsing and filling the tank at least once a day for one person's use, plus weekly washing. It would be easier if the handle wasn't inside the tank, and the lid detached- I find it awkward to work with as it is. I don't think everyone could handle the full tanks of water, especially having to lift them up and onto the back of the unit- I'm able to go around my counter and get at it from behind. From what I've seen offered, this is still a more economical choice for a water filtration system.
Love the taste and seems very pure. Don't like how often i have to refill and do the reverse osmosis. It would be great to have a system that makes a larger amount of purified water as we drink a lot of water and use it in cooking etc.
I was very excited to get this water filter, it was highly recommended with the multi filters. It is easy enough to use, but I thought it would hold more water then it does. The water that is splashed back in the base has to be emptied - before adding more and can't be used as drinking water. It was explained to me when I call that this is the water that is released back from the filter. I can use this to water my house plants, but not plants I will eat. I think there is a lot of water that I can't drink this way. I haven't had to replace the filters yet, so I can't comment on that. The machine is easy to use, I like the pouring spout, it is easy enough to clean- once a week, and doesn't take up much space on the kitchen counter.
