It's a nice laptop for my purposes but has the very annoying issue of the "wandering pointer." You're in the middle of typing something and the pointer disappears to another location continuing my typing elsewhere. :(

I've had a number of HP laptops over the years, and this is my favorite. I like that you can close the camera lens instead of taping over it. I use the ten key a lot and I like the backlit keys in low light. The touch pad works so much better than any previous version that I've had, and the touch screen is a welcome addition that I didn't think I would want. I use a USB mouse most of the time, but I use the other two options as well. This is my second 17-inch HP Laptop, and I'm spoiled on that size which I find travels just as well as a smaller one. This computer has so many more features that are fantastic and it is very fast! I truly believe that you won't be disappointed if you purchase one.

The OmniBook 7 17" laptop is just what I wanted. I purchased it to replace an old HP which was getting close to end of life. My new laptop has a comfortable keyboard with num keypad. I use mostly Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PPT) with the larger screen I can multitask more easily because of the space to view multiple docs or x-sheet as the same time. I am still adjusting to the touch screen, but I believe I'm going to really like this new feature (old laptop did not have).

For the most part was fairly simple. There is a problem with the task bar not always working when I click on the app and also that it does not even show up sometimes on the second screen. I did not experience any problems during setup.
