Seems pretty well made, but haven't had a chance quite yet for any hard use. It is much smaller than I expected, but doesn't seem to be too small for reasonable use (especially given the price).

Used a few times and works well. It’s very short so I wouldn’t use it for a big job but it’s great to shovel out some snow under the tires, etc. We can store it under the back seat of our two door Jeep.

Not What I Expected

I have to admit that I didn’t check the specs on this tool- I just presumed that the tool would match the quality of SOG’s multitools, etc.
Well, at an overall length of 18” and a blade width of 4.5”, compared to an Ames mil-spec e-tool of 23” overall and a blade width of 6”, the SOG e-tool just does not measure up.
It is at best a garden trowel on steroids- maybe an e-tool’s little brother.
I expected more than a glorified garden tool. I’d hate to be forced to entrust this tool to dig a foxhole in order to protect myself.

I've been a loyal sog owner for 20 years. We want a 1 peice forged shovel not this crap here. Make your products tuffer. I've recently gone thru a trident elite and multi tool pliers. Both are broken someway or another after less then 1 year.....Go back to simple more metal not plastic. Thank you

For some reason I thought that this would be a full size spade. It is actually small enough to fit in the glove compartment of a BMW 328. I figure if I need to chip away at some ice...ehh maybe it would work. I will keep the full size shovel in the trunk for digging out of icy situations and burying the occasional body.
