sons hearing loss

We were given these pair of Walker Excel 100 to use for our sons for the fourth of July fireworks last year. Upon listening I was amazed on how clear and crisp the sound was and how we could magnify the sound for him to hear us. My son suffers from a moderate to severe hearing loss and at a far distance or conversation with loud noises makes it difficult to communicate. NOT WITH THESE!!!! he was close to 80 yards away and herd me with out having to shout or yell at the top of my lungs. This was a great moment for us as a family. This company will now have my business now and forever. Thank you!

Excellent amplification and noise reduction

I have worn these for two seasons now and have been very happy with the comfort, especially after I added gel foam inserts. I wear plugs and muffs at the range and these are the best I have used in terms of having a volume high enough to hear conversations with the plugs in. Very comfortable for several hours of use, and priced very well compared to other brands with less amplification. Sound fidelity is not a significant concern of mine so I can't speak to the quality of sound reproduction, but if you are using them for the range situational awareness isn't as important. I would love to see walkers put out a 30nrr muff with similar amplification - it would be the last pair I would need to buy!
