My A26 5G is fast, stable, full Galaxy experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Galaxy A26 5G as my daily driver phone. It's fast, stable, and gives me the full Galaxy experience. I get software updates quickly, all of the Samsung family of apps, and the device has never crashed on me.
In particular I like a lot of the UX details in OneUI 8 that make app management easier (app lock to keep an app from being killed by PPK, split screen, and picture in picture). I think the themes need a little work -- maybe they look a bit better baked in on higher end models. On the A26 5G there are themes available, and they work, but they feel like an afterthought rather than a fully integrated part of OneUI.
As for Galaxy AI, I do use circle to search. It's actually a lot more useful than I thought it it would be. Very easy you access though the right side pull out tray, and it gets me partial screen shots and text OCR effortlessly.
I do a lot of mobile development, and Claude Code Remote Control works great on the A26. I can leave the heavy lifting on the VPS and interact with the AI Agent through the phone mm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Galaxy A26 is a pleasure to use. I'm learning new tricks that improve efficiency and cut screen time. Samsung AI is cool to use, especially for summaries.
Battery life is good, too. Typically, I'll recharge at dinner and first thing upon waking (i like to maintain at least 50% charge).
Speed is no t a problem with the A26. Great screen, too. Why pay more for very marginal improvements with the S series?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great as an affordable option while still having many features of the more expensive models, the Galaxy AI is great. I would say the one thing I don't like is that the charging port got damaged really fast, it often doesn't charge and I have to force it to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone stopped fast charging after one year. It now takes 3 to 4 hours to charge this phone. I purchased a new battery but, i have not replaced the old one yet. I am debating on if I should just buy a new phone, not a Samsung.

Hey Willowsdad, Thank you for taking the time to review your Galaxy A36 5G. Everyday performance greatly influences the overall phone experience, and we appreciate your feedback. If your Galaxy phone or tablet freezes or crashes, it can be quite frustrating. Fortunately, this issue can often be resolved without needing to send your device in for service. Simple actions like rebooting your device and updating the software can help prevent future freezes and crashes. Ensure that your device has enough available space. It’s also important that your phone or tablet is connected to the internet and charged to at least 50% before installing any software updates. Note that some carriers require a Wi-Fi connection for updates and will not permit you to use mobile data. If you encounter an error during a software update and your device keeps restarting, you can look for guidance on how to escape a boot loop. Additionally, if your phone or tablet is low on storage, you can optimize it using the Device Care feature. You may also back up extra files using Smart Switch or your Samsung or Google account.
