WARMING PLATE SYSTEM IS CONFUSING

Who do I call to ask for a small model are a different model it’s to big for me .what can I do to return it .and where can I return it I use it 2 times.

No where in the instructions does it say how to first turn it on. There should be a simple power button and a SEPARATESettings button

A bit overly complicated compared to even the Cuisinart version

My husband purchased this to replace one from Cuisinart that had a rusted out burner (everything else worked great). Although the Chefman unit is very similar (albeit a bit larger), I noticed that several of the features were engineered in a bit more complex manner than necessary. This results in it taking a bit more time to use. One example is the top of the carafe- it requires locking and can take a bit of juggling to put on. Another thing is the way the filter fits. It requires more finessing than the Cuisart maker.
Also, while at first I thought is was great that the water tank is behind, so that the coffee maker sits perpendicular to the backsplash, it turns out to be a bit of a pain to reach behind the unit to add water. These are just little things but add up to make it less convenient.

It really keeps the coffee, nice and hot or an hour, I love that it is sleek and slim on the counter. It also makes very good coffee not bitter
