I am genuinely delighted with the HP OMEN Transcend 14. From the moment I started using it, the quality and attention to detail were obvious. It is brilliantly made, feels exceptionally well put together, and has performed flawlessly.
The OLED display is superb — incredibly sharp, bright and vibrant, with excellent contrast and smooth performance thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. It makes everything from everyday work to gaming and watching video a real pleasure.
Performance has also been excellent. The Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255H, 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5050 provide more than enough power for everything I have thrown at it. It is fast, responsive and handles demanding applications and games without any fuss.
I particularly like the balance HP has achieved with this machine. It has genuine gaming performance without looking or feeling like an oversized gaming laptop. It is relatively compact, stylish and very well designed, making it equally suitable for professional use and entertainment.
The build quality is first class, the keyboard and trackpad are excellent, and the whole machine feels like a premium product.
In short, I couldn't be happier with it. It has been completely faultless, performs brilliantly and looks fantastic. A superb laptop that I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Generally, it's a nice device, but I'm not quite impressed with the build quality. The quality is not a reflection of the cost of the PC. I would have expected more from HP, especially around the lid for the bezel. The fitting there is very poor.
But besides that, I think that the internals are perfectly great. The aluminium chassis is wonderful, and the fact that it's powered by USB for me is a plus on my side.
