There are 3 heat settings. ‘Low’ is cool; middle is ‘Hot’ and haven’t even tried the high setting!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stands the test of time...and hair!

I bought my first one in 2019..5 years later it has just now started to give up. I looked up so many 'newer' more popular models that have been released and kept going back to this one. I've done hair for 22 years now and out of all of the blowdryers I have used (including the Dyson and the Drybar buttercup) this one is my favorite. It really is powerful, lightweight, strong, and reliable. At the end of the day, that's what I need. I just got back from purchasing another one at the hair store and I'm really glad I did!
