Grate, simple and awesome

Love the flexibility this device affords me!

I think Garmin has knocked it out of the park with their initial foray into the screenless health tracker market. The dedicated activity start button sets them apart from the competition. Thus far, I have found the CIRQA to be extremely comfortable and it has served the purpose for which I purchased it perfectly. This device allows me to wear traditional mechanical watches to work during the day without losing my ability to track my health metrics. It has also proven to be a more comfortable sleep tracking option than wearing my Fenix 8 overnight. The only constructive feedback I have at this point is that the automatic activity recognition is a bit wonky. On one of my runs, I had to stop at an intersection for traffic and it ended my workout and I was not aware until I got home. I'm sure the developers at Garmin will sort this with future firmware updates. Overall, well done on this device, Garmin!

I wanted to like it

I was waiting for this device and really excited to get one. From day 1, I had issues. Wore it for 4 nights.
Night 1, acidentally triggered pairing mode, purple flashing light, took it off. Still flashing in morning.
Night 2, it was at 100% when I put it on before bed. By morning, the battery had dropped to 40%. A 60% battery loss in one night seems excessive.
Night 3, the device was fully charged again. I put it on at approximately 10:30 p.m. and went to sleep around midnight. Shortly before bed, it began flashing green. I assumed the flashing would stop, but it continued. At approximately 12:40 a.m., the CIRQA vibrated, waking me. It stopped on its own. It vibrated again at approximately 1:40 a.m., at which point I removed it for the remainder of the night.
Night 4, no isses, zero data transmitted
Day 5 - returned device.

Great Device!

It is really comfortable to wear and does not cause skin irritation. I like all of the information that it collects and is easy to take in all of the info with Garmin Connect. I wish it had built in GPS even at the expense of some battery life. Other than that. I really like it.

I bought this a month ago and am disappointed in the performance so far. I primarily want it for sleep tracking (I used my Garmin Fenix 8 but it's too bulky). Most nights, it says "no sleep activity". I've reset it, made sure I wear it appropriately and it only tracks about 25% of the time. It also hasn't tracked activities that I've recorded.

The Garmin Ecosystem is now complete
on August 12, 2026

Surprisingly light and minimal given how much data it collects. And finally, the Cirqa, Forerunner, Index Scale and BPM, Connect+ all come together. The first time you can exist in one ecosystem will full health and fitness tracking, recovery, nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, etc. Having everything under one app with no integrations is outstanding.

Needs better running & AI features
on August 12, 2026

I was excited to use this discreet, screenless tracker to monitor my gym sessions on the Concept 2 rower and SkiErg, alongside my four to five weekly runs. However, the Connect+ experience falls short. The app lacks running-specific training plans, interval support, and pace guidance. For a premium subscription, there are too many standard features missing. Furthermore, the Active Intelligence feature is a letdown; instead of a real conversational AI chat to help analyze my training and recovery, it only provides basic summaries. It is an average product that requires a significant software update to fully support a dedicated athletic routine.
