Works alright. Seems to be waterproof and portable enough. My knock on it, is that it isn't very loud outside at all, and the music doesn't travel far. If you have it turned up for outside use (will need to be) it won't last 20 hrs. I've been Lucky to get 6 Hrs before it wants to die.
This speaker did not work right out of the box, I called their support line, they told me to try some things and ended up telling me it's defective. They wanted me to send it in for warranty. I told them I would just return it to the store, which I did. Got my money back and got another brand. I'm not trusting a brand that sells defective stuff. I took my chances (saw bad reviews). Here is another bad review to go along with them. Don't waist your time just get a reputable and popular brand.
Description says Qi wireless charging, that's not true, it also says 5 Led setting, not true their are 11 settings also says battery last 20 hours and that's also not true it will last approx 5 hours maximum.
This does not work. I bought one on Sunday, took it home, plugged it in so it was showing the red light in the power button meaning it was charging. I left it charging all night, but in the morning it would not turn on. Took back to the store on Monday to exchange it, thinking it was just a fluke. Again, plugged it in and it showed the red charging light, left it all night to charge. Once again, it would not turn on in the morning. Called the customer service number and they told me to try a different cord. Used my cell phone charger that I use every night to charge my phone, and plugged it in. Still wouldn't turn on. Moved it to a different outlet and left it for 5 hours. Still nothing. Called customer service and they said it must be defective and would look into warranty. Nope. Will be returning and purchasing a different brand. JUNK.
The speakers qi charger won't connect to a phone with a case and has very poor audio quality. It also started rattling after a few uses so loudly it distracts you from the music playing. I bought it in the summer and it sounded great the couple times it was used but now its the time of year I just want to sit and relax to some music but this speaker seems to sound worse every time I use it.
I'm on my second hydraboom speaker and both worked for half hour after a full charge and then wouldn't charge at all. Now they want me to pay the shipping to have a third sent out.
Charging issues on both original and replacement u

First speaker I bought worked for an hour and died after a full charge. After that it wouldn't charge at all and just has a flashing red light. Got a replacement and it lasted about the same amount of time and again just a flashing red light and not charging. Very frustrating product.
I bought this to replace my aging Divoom Voombox2 to use at work. The speaker came with about 60% charge out of the box, but once that charge ran out, I was unable to charge it again using any of my chargers/bases, including the one provided in the box. Whenever I plugged it in, the power indicator would flash red, indicating a poor connection, no matter which cord or power source I used (including my power bank). All the power sources I tested worked fine with my phone, so I know it wasn't the source. I concluded that I must've gotten a defective speaker, so I had it replaced at Best Buy, only to have the exact same issues with the second speaker. The second one managed to charge once, using the same cord(s) I tested with the previous one, but from fully charged it died in exactly 30 minutes and wouldn't charge again.
Aside from the charging issues, I was also very let down with the speakers' sound quality and volume. The sub rattles and the tweeters have frankly bad sound quality when playing at max volume, which is also surprisingly quiet for the speakers' size.
I wouldn't recommend this speaker to anybody.
Also, when contacting customer support, the only thing they said to me was that they could replace the speaker with warranty. I told them I just wanted to know if these issues were due to something I was doing and they couldn't give me any information at all. As soon as I said I wasn't interested in getting a new speaker, they literally hung up on me. All around disappointing.
