I bought because of the name and that I could remove the bottom to clean. It is hard to remove the bottom and medium isn't enough pressure but high is too much, low is barely anything.
I bought this to travel with and I wish I had used it more before I left. I would have sent it back. I fear I am too late Although I like that it’s wireless, the water pressure is very poor. I bought the pockitpik flossers thinking that would improve the pressure, but it has not. It acts as if the battery is not at full strength even after charging. It stops if it buys up against the tooth.
The magnetic charger is an epic failure. It falls off with the slightest touch. Just moving it on the counter and it falls off.

Hello C.Johnson- Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're not happy with the WP-580. The Pik Pocket Tip is a specialty tip designed for periodontal pockets and may require precise placement during use. If you're looking for a tip for everyday use, we recommend the Precision Handheld Cordless Tip or Plaque Seeker Tip. For charging, please make sure the charger is firmly attached to the front of the unit at the Waterpik emblem. If you need additional assistance, please contact us at smreviews@waterpik.com or 1-800-525-2774.
The Waterpik™ WP-580 keeps my teeth and gums clean. It is extremely is to use, holds a charge for a long time, and it comes in multiple colors which helps if you have other family members who want their own reflecting their style.
What a dumb product. I haven’t even tried to use it yet. It has a magnetic charge connection on the Waterpik and no charger on the other end. Neither end works. Dump the magnetic thingy for a USB3 connection and give me a charger. Your product engineers who designed this should be surplused.
I asked my wife to order this for me; I should have had a look at it before it was ordered. I’m in my 70s and this is my first product review, that’s how bad it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I also have Waterpik Evolution countertop and the pressure pulsation of Evolution at number 6 on a pressure pulsation dial (1 to 10) is stronger than this cordless water flosser on high setting. I wish the Waterpik can add an optional cord to plug the water flosser to the wall so I can do water flossing with more pulsation power. Anyway I plan to use the cordless water flosser for travel as well as backup in case the other water flosser breaks or when there's a power outage. I used to own Waterpik Ultra long ago. The first one broke after few months so I got another one and it also broke. I also bought cordless water flosser of a different brand and it also broke. It seems water flossers easily break. I need the water flosser anyhow as I have gum issues and recession (gum receding) and this water flosser would help. My dentist encouraged me to get one. Doing water flossing makes my mouth feel fresh and clean and I hope I can keep using it and they don't break.
