My dental hygienist recommended this Water pik. I ordered it and am using it. However, it doesn't seem to be very effective. Maybe long-term it will make a difference.

Good product. I've been using the larger Waterpik counter top version for several years and decided I wanted a smaller footprint as I keep it stored under the sink. This model does not have the bells and whistles of the larger version but I never changed the settings so that was not a negative. Good stream and the tank holds enough water for an after-brushing floss. No problem with charging. It took a couple uses to adapt to the bulkier base but it's all good and I would not hesitate to purchase again.
