Generally this is a reasonable alternative for traveling. I find it a bit difficult to maneuver it to reach all my teeth especially the back of the wisdom teeth. Water tank is a bit difficult to remove but maybe needs to be that way or it’s still new.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Joe V. We're sorry you find the WP-580 difficult to maneuver. We've found that the best advice we can give is to place the water flosser in your mouth before turning it on, and then look down into your sink as you go. Also, keep your mouth slightly open so water can drain into the sink. Here's a link to a video that demonstrates this: https://youtu.be/l02dBOdOxtU
I have used waterpik’s before and I find this one to work very well. It fits in my hand nicely and easy to hold. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t hold enough water to complete the job but the door to it makes it very easy to refill.
I absolutely LOVE this product! It's super easy to use and makes my teeth feel super clean! It's the first tool that really cleans under my permanent retainer too. Highly recommend!
Greetings! I had to purchased my third WaterPic, as it aged out. I am a huge fan! This one was more techie! It had a much stronger choice of a power wash, the tube down into the water tank is now designed to vacuum out all the water by the pump, and the new way to charge the unit is different now! You just lay the magnetic charger onto the front of the base and charge it like your phone. Make sure you have your own adapter on hand. I really like my new waterpic!
Purchased the Water Pik and accessories after recent trip to dentist. I chose the cordless so I can travel with it. I’m very pleased with the cleanliness of my teeth after.
