[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to switch to a galaxy smart ring from a competitor. I get all the same features without a monthly fee. I also love the chargeable case to change the ring once every 7 days or so. Fantastic upgrade!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ring. I wear it everyday. I chose the gold and it matches my esthetic perfectly while tracking everything I need it to.
I purchased my original Samsung Galaxy Ring in February 2025. Unfortunately, I begin experiencing problems with the ring and eventually had it replaced by Samsung in October 2025. Now the replacement ring is experiencing the same battery issue. The battery is not holding a charge properly, making the ring unreliable for continuous health, activity, and sleep tracking. What makes this especially frustrating is that this isn't simply one defective ring. I am now experiencing a similar problem with my second Galaxy Ring from the same original purchase. After already going through the replacement process once, I did not expect to be dealing with another battery failure less than a year later. For a premium-priced wearable, I expect the battery to remain reliable for considerably longer than this. I like the concept and features of the Galaxy Ring, but none of that matters if the device cannot consistently hold a charge. At this point, I believe Samsung needs to take a serious look at the battery reliability of the Galaxy Ring. Customers should not have to repeatedly replace a premium device because of premature battery problems. Based on my experience with two rings since February 2025. I cannot recommend the Samsung Galaxy Ring unless Samsung addresses the battery reliability issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Aloha StlPuln70, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your feedback provides valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line to better align with the needs of our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Ring mainly to track sleep and baseline health metrics without dealing with the bulk or distraction of a full smartwatch on my wrist at night. The hardware is surprisingly lightweight, durable, and comfortable enough that I completely forget I am wearing it. Passive health tracking is continuous and consistent, the sleep staging data syncs reliably without manual intervention, and battery life easily carries through several days between charges. It provides seamless, low-friction wellness tracking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this ring because it packs so much in such a small body. And it comes without a subscription model. What else can one ask for in a smart ring? Battery. It is the only reason for a 3 star. I do understand though that it's tricky to handle the battery situation in such a tiny body. I hope the next generation would have less battery problems and this device will become a no brainer. Even if the battery life remains the same, the battery degradation needs to be fixed which seems to happen quite fast (within 10 months of use) which makes it difficult to recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Ring because I wanted a convenient way to track my workouts, steps, sleep, and overall activity without having to wear a smartwatch all the time. For the first year or so, I really enjoyed the ring. I wore it during workouts, used it to track my sleep every night, monitored my daily steps, and took advantage of pretty much everything it advertised.
Unfortunately, the battery life has declined significantly. After about a year and a half, I was lucky to get a full day on a charge. Now, at almost two years old, the battery lasts only about three hours, which makes the ring practically useless for fitness or sleep tracking.
What makes this especially disappointing is that the ring worked well long enough to make it beyond the limited warranty before the battery became this bad. For a premium device, I expected it to remain functional much longer.
I initially loved my Galaxy Ring and would have rated it much higher based on my early experience. However, I can only give it three stars because of the battery degradation and limited useful lifespan. If you're considering purchasing one, I strongly recommend getting an extended warranty. At this point, my ring is basically unusable, and I'll have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the upgrading to the Ultra2 because of the UI 9.0 software and expanded health features. I am really impressed with the advanced technology built into the watch.
