Dead after 370 days
on April 15, 2026

The ring is now useless, except as a piece of jewelry. I owned an Oura ring prior to this and the only reason that I traded it in for this one was I believed it was going to be a quality Item as other Samsung products are. However, that is not the case with this ring. Tracking was never as good as my watch, the battery gave out exactly 370 days of wearing it. If you are serious about tracking your health, this isn't for you. I am going back to Oura. FYI, I am a loyal Samsung customer who always has to have the latest and greatest. I should have waited to buy until they tested it more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Howdy SikorskyJoe,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared below, please feel free to contact Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a steadfast Samsung customer.

Lasted 16 months
on April 7, 2026
Posted by: Loyal2Samsung
Well, it happened. Had problems with the battery from the very beginning. Returned it twice. Received a new one and had for 16 months. I told myself I will take it off when I fully charge it at night and the battery dies before I wake up. It happened.... No longer wearing it. I sorta liked it. Would I buy another one? No. I'm a loyal Samsung person and own just about everything they make. This is the first product that I'm not satisfied with. Stick with just a watch, not both.

Great Watch Replacement

I loved my galaxy watch (5 golf edition). I definitely got my money's worth. But i noticed I wasn't using my watch to the fullest potential and felt that all i really needed could be gained from the ring. The ring is perfect. I hardly notice it on my finger. As a guy, it has that masculine look, pairs well if you are married with your wedding band. The charge lasts so much longer too, I charge mine once a week with charge to spare. I find it's more accurate with it's readings than my watch was, but that's not knocking the watch, more so praising the ring. I used my watch for the trade in value, and the process was super simple. If you're not trading in, you're going to get more value than I am going to get without. I'm glad I stuck with Samsung on this technology, it paired easily with my phone. Must buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth for an year
on April 3, 2026
Posted by: Krishna K
For the initial one year the ring was performing okay. But after one year it starts working abnormally. Charges from 0 to 100% with mins and discharges to 0% in the same way. Not scratch resistant. Disconnects from phone due to charging issue. Leaves stress marks on the finger.

Howdy Krishna ,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we continue to improve the performance and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. We understand how frustrating it may be to not have your device looking as pristine as it was during your unboxing. Here's a few precautions: Prevent the ring from being exposed to dust, sweat, ink, oil, and chemical products such as cosmetics, antibacterial sprays, hand cleaners, detergents, and insecticides. The ring’s exterior and interior may become damaged, which may result in poor performance. If the ring is exposed to any of these substances, clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use external heat sources, ultrasonic waves, soap, cleaning agents, abrasive materials, or compressed air to clean the ring. Doing so may damage the ring. Feel free to check out, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" if you would like to learn more. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided below, please let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. The ring does exactly what I had hoped for when I purchased it. I used it to track my health, especially my sleep. In tracking my sleep, I find I use the hints to modify my habits to produce more useful sleep and find my overall energy and ability to concentrate has improved. I also keep an eye on my heart rate and stress level.

Battery drains in less a day

I bought this ring a year ago, and the battery drains in less than a day. It is an expensive product of very poor quality. I can barely use my ring anymore. Be wary of this product; I would not recommend it.

Major Battery Degradation - Total Waste of Money
on April 1, 2026
Posted by: Stephanie 123
Absolute garbage. The battery died after just a few months of use. Sleep tracking is a joke—it stops recording the second you move in the morning and won't capture any sleep if you go back to bed. You can't manually update it to fix the errors. The only good thing is that there’s no subscription, but that's because the product doesn't work long enough to justify one. Avoid at all costs.
