I like the ring alot. Watching my energy score fluctuate day to day is awesome. Quite accurate to how I feel. I wish samsung pay would be integrated into the ring as well. That would've made it better in my honest opinion.
Tracking isnt that great without the watch. I tested it with my vigorous daily excercises and came to the conclusion. Its a overpriced pedometer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting us, Ruiz. It seems you got in touch to share your feedback about the Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring automatically recognizes your activity and starts recording after you exercise continuously for a certain period. It collects activity diagnostics such as steps, exercise time, and calories burned. You can view all the diagnostics using the Samsung Health app. If you find that the information on your watch is inaccurate, we suggest sending an error report. To send an error report for your Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, or Galaxy Ring, you'll need to use the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone or tablet. Here are the steps to follow: 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone or tablet. 2. Tap on "Menu," which may appear as a circle in the bottom center of the screen or three horizontal lines on the left side. 3. Tap on "More" in the upper right, which looks like three vertical dots. 4. Tap on "Settings," and then tap "Contact us" at the bottom. 5. Tap on "Error reports" under "Send feedback." 6. Select the wearable device(s) you are having issues with from the list, and then tap "Next." 7. Make sure "Send system log data" is checked, and then fill out the other required fields. 8. If you want to include an additional attachment, tap the "Attach" icon, which looks like a paper clip in the upper right corner. You can add a photo, screenshot, or voice recording. 9. When you're ready, tap the send arrow in the upper right corner. If this persists, please contact Samsung Support for further assistance. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
Physically, it is hard to take off due to its inner sharp edges. It should have had a smooth rounded inside edge (comfort fit edge). You have to take this on and off ever other day to recharge the battery. Technically, It cannot see how many flights of stairs were climbed. For these reasons I would not recommend this first Gen.

Thanks for reaching out, Sams. Our goal is to make sure our customers have the best experience with our products. We see that you reached out to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Ring. Your Samsung Ring automatically tracks the number of steps you've taken while wearing it. There are different factors that can cause the ring's step count to be inaccurate. However, you may need to verify how your steps are being counted by Samsung Health. The accuracy of the ring's step measurement can be affected by the following factors: Make sure your ring and the Samsung Health app are using the latest software. Environmental and skin conditions may affect how well the steps are recorded. Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The ring is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. If this continues to happen, we recommend sending an error report. If you’re having an issue with your Galaxy device or an app on your device, you can send an error report to Samsung. This can be done through the Samsung Members app or by using the desired app on your device. If this continues to be your experience, please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can further assist with this. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
The Samsung Galaxy ring is really good at keeping track of your sleep, steps and love the energy level score it shows everyday. The reason I gave 4 stars vice 5 stars is because the battery charging case should be improved to clearly show what percentage the ring is at as well as the case itself. The case should also indicate the ring is actually charging.
I've been using the Ring a week now and like the knowledge it has to offer. It gets more intuitive as it gathers info from daily use. I wish the Energy Score adjusted throughout the day instead being set at the beginning of your day. I have Samsung phone so setup and connections were pretty much on autopilot. Happy with my purchase
I've had my ring for ten days. Four days after purchase it scratched and silver shows through on the black. Had I known that would happen, I would've minimally ordered the silver ring since I think the ring looks cheap now. I paid too much for this to happen. The ring is also quite uncomfortable. I'm glad I can at least switch the finger I wear it on to allieve that some what. I am deeply hopeful that the app will improve as well- the app crashes frequently when I try to look at stats, despite that I am accessing it on a Galaxy S24. I've been a Samsung fan for years, but this is not my favorite samsung product.

The ring itself is great. Very lightweight but still feel durable. I've been wearing to a month and it shows no signs of wear and I wear it while washing my hands and applying hand sanitizer. I do take it off to shower. I just place it in the charging box while I'm showering. This system works well and I've only had to charge it once outside this for about an hour.
The app leaves a little to be desired. The ring does not know when you fall asleep-- it knows when you get in bed. I bought it mainly to track my sleep but I read in bed every night for about an hour before falling asleep. The ring will think I'm sleeping that whole time and I often wake up to alerts that I slept too long or went to bed too early even though I was up reading.
It also doesn't continuously track heartrate, only every 10 mins. So if you are doing some high intensity short workout, it can sometimes completely miss that.
I was also interested in it for the cycle tracking. I've only had it for about a month, but so far I'm not impressed. It says it uses your temperature to predict ovulation, but it definitely is just counting days. The temperature data is all over the place and I can't see any pattern to it to indicate different phases. Maybe this will level out over a few months, but so far this feature doesn't offer anything I could easily track myself.
I know this sounded a bit negative, but I am happy with the ring and hopeful that Samsung will make updates to the app software in the future!
