I bought this about a month ago and don't regret it. I have been in the Garmin ecosystem for several years now (came from fitbit). For the past few years I have been using the Vivosmart 5 but the cirqa just feels better and looks better. I do miss the screen but I've gotten used to it. I always have my phone on me anyway. I feel ilke the tracking on the Cirqa is quicker though compared to the vivosmart. I can see my steps update in real time while with the vivosmart, it usually took a few seconds or more to update in the app.I also think the Cirqa is a little or fashionable.
Overall I like the new band by Garmin. The plus is subscription-less software that other brands usually charge a fee for.
It’s a good item if you don’t want a Garmin watch, but still want to use the data for example for cycling training. I didn’t like the wrist band much and switched to an arm band without velcro. Battery life is definitely way worse than claimed. I think I get hardly a week out of it. It could be even better if it would have GPS so it doesn’t need to rely on the phones GPS
The device itself looks cool. I like it. The material is very good. The app, however, is just not great. The UI is ugly. I came from Whoop, and Garmin's interface is just not it. There is not much to do in there. I assume if you pay for their Connect+ subscription, that would not be the case, but I haven't tried it yet.
I wanted something more comfortable to wear at night as a sleep monitor. I already have a Fenix 6 Pro that's five years old, but still works great. The CIRQA gave me additional metrics like sleep coach, training readiness, and health status my Fenix 6 doesn't track. Now I'm not distracted at night by my watch. I also have the added benefit of wearing the CIRQA around my bicep during work where watches aren't allowed.
It is a great alternative to my Garmin watches. Gives me all the data I need on a daily basis. It allows me to wear other dress watches and still receive all my pertinate information.
Two weeks in and loving my device. All the features of my fenix but allows me to wear my dress watch! Only concern is the blue is more of a stonewashed appearance than the pictures portray.
I’ve been using the Garmin CIRQA mainly for sleep and recovery tracking, and I’m very impressed with how comfortable and discreet it is to wear overnight. The device is lightweight, and after a short adjustment period, I barely notice it on my wrist.
The integration with the Garmin ecosystem is one of its biggest advantages. Sleep data, heart rate and other health metrics are seamlessly incorporated into Garmin Connect, making it easy to follow my recovery over time.
I also really like the option to use CIRQA as a heart-rate sensor when I don’t want to wear my chest strap during a workout.
I’m still exploring all of its features, but so far the combination of comfort, battery life, sleep tracking and Garmin integration has made it a very useful addition to my Garmin setup.
Highly recommended for Garmin users who want a discreet device focused on sleep and recovery.
