I bought this off my son, NO instructions he tryed to get it to work with my phone and it wouldn't work. So I bought a new phone and still couldn't get it to work. Now I see why he didn't want it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very content with it. Meets expectations.
Only thing that gets me is it doesn’t charge with a basic micro SD cord that everyone has so many of- it has its own special cord.
But a great speaker!

Solid, good bang for you buck

Upgraded from the JBL 3, and interestingly enough the JBL 3 sound quality seemed better. It seemed as though it filled the room better whereas the JBL 4 is more one directional sounds. Also seems that the JBL 4 performs better at mid volume than high volume. Overall pleased but always wanting more.
I would recommend this to a friend!
