AMAZING SOUND!!!

I am a school bus driver and my radio doesn't work in the bus. I wanted something to enjoy to take my mind off of the consant chaos of the children. This is perfect for me. It's loud enough that I can hear it over my bus engine. I have a flat nose bus the engine is inside the cab. I love being able to play music through my phone to enjoy! Thank you! JBL is GREAT!

Replacement Parts?

I had my JBL Charge 4 for about two years and one day it just stopped making sound. It would turn on and connect to my phone but absolutely no sound. I did some research and somehow got it to make sound and play music quietly. Once there was something with bass being played or it got too loud, it would just stop making noise. I think I need to replace the speaker part itself because I took the speaker about, I pulled the speaker part out and played music then slowly turned the volume up then the music just stopped. Nothing else seemed to be causing the problem so I’m asking if there are parts I can purchase to replace instead of spending too much money to buy another one.

Horrible battery life!

I've been a JBL fan since the '80s and have spent thousands of dollars on their product.
Never had a real issue until I bought my 2nd JBL 4. Wouldn't you know it, a few weeks after the warranty expired so did the battery.
Don't bother calling their customer service department like they tell every person who has a problem on this page is told, they're useless in terms of helping you. Nice lady, just useless.
So am I expected to buy a new one every year? I think not. Great sound but if doesn't have a good battery what's the use?
Just checked out Bose speakers and their battery life as well as reviews seem to be better.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. The battery of our JBL Charge 4 can vary depending on usage and volume. These speakers have lithium-ion batteries, which in turn have charging cycles. These cycles will be used up whenever you charge and discharge the speaker. We're always looking for ways to improve so we'll make sure to submit your feedback to the right department.
