I bought this product a month ago and it’s wonderful. The best speaker I have ever purchased. I will never buy another speaker from anyone else. Jbl knows how to make a speaker.

Looks like a mini Extreme

It is a gift for my wife and she won't open it until the 1st week of May . I hope it lasts longer than my extreme did because my extreme only lasted a year and a half.

Hi there, thanks for reviewing our JBL Charge 4. It's good to know that all batteries, over time, will slowly wear down so it's important to know how to properly take care of your speaker. You can use these tips:
1. Avoid long-term usage in high temperature environment or charging under the sun. This will drastically affect battery life and performance.
2. Do not leave your speaker fully discharged. This isn't good for the battery. When it stops playing because the battery is completely depleted, recharge as soon as possible.

Love the bass!

Glad I purchased the Charge4, well worth the $$ I spent so much that I even talked a neighbor of mine into purchasing one told her she would not regret the purchase!

Charge4 Audio Reproduction Signal Delay +/- .5 sec

I loved my little Flip 3, very good quality, to say the least! Then JBL upgraded the quality significantly with Flip 4. I purchased the Charge 4: quality of audio reproduction like no other! The little round JBL speakers still make me laugh! The .5 sec audio delay of the Charge 4 skipping the first +/- .5 sec of the audio selection could be from damage from dropping during shipping and handling/warehousing, if not unauthorized manufacture in another Country, with U.S. Federal online reports of many, many unauthorized manufacturers of many, many of the biggest names in electric/electronic musical instruments, microphones, and many, many other products. DSP, Digital Signal Processing, in JBL models described by customer comments could be a problem, yet defect/damage is probably the problem. No problem! I will do a return/exchange! I LOVE JBL portable audio sound reinforcement/reproduction speakers!

Incredible sound quality and response

I have had my Charge 4 since Black Friday and am truly impressed with the sound quality. I have paired it with my Flip 4's and it really fills any room with incredible sound quality.

For more than a year now I've been using charging 3, a very good column!
I waited for 4 charges and thought it was better 3 charges.
But not very bad!
Charging 4 louder than powerful bass. but in the sound there is no such zest, as in charging 3 of Harman's patented quality, just a loud speaker with an unpleasant sound.
I'm very disappointed.
