It was easy to set up. I found the app easy to use, certainly mapping was easy. Obviously, you have to be aware of obstacles that could trap it (the base of my guitar stand was just the right height to trap it). I take a few moments to put up the chairs and move anything that has been a problem for it before running a cycle. If you have something really dried onto the floor, you'll have to manage that as it just does basic mopping. Don't expect it to scrub too much. For maintenance it is wonderful. It is saving me a huge amount of energy and I really love that. It is kind of pricey, but over time, it should pay for itself.
