This is compact and simple to use.

I was a law enforcement officer and trained, 40 hours, to use a unit requiring ampule comparison and a 20 min. warmup at the staion. This is about the size om my cell phone and is ready to use in less than 15 seconds. I tested myself after 2 hrs of playing tennis, drank 2 beers and blew a .07. Calculating my weight age and sex, it should have taken @4-5 drinks to be at that level with a normal metabilaziom. I am very careful, thanks to the S80 unit, not to exceed this limit, especially after doing a high energy activity which increases my motabilization.

We use this for the young adults in our family in our rec room.. If they are over .8 they don't drive and keys are taken (from the friends as well). Has helped make clear life and death decisions with younger adults.

Cheap compared to a DWI

Now when my son goes to parties everyone knows their blood alcohol level and who should drive. I can tell you that some bad situations have been avoided. It has paid for itself many times over. The lawyer fees and driving suspensions are one side, accidents are another.

I have a teenager who on occasion came home inebriated. His dad would often say that our son was under the influence while I would generally fall for whatever line the kid gave us. When in doubt have them blow in a breathalyzer. Your kid can no longer lie to you, his father can no longer say he was inebriated when he wasn't & you get to hold them accountable when they are under the influence.

Extremely Accurate

Until it is mandatory that every car has a Breathalyzer in it . Everyone who intends to drink even one Drink and Drive should have this as a Reminder that even One drink can substantially impair your driving for at least 20 minutes after you drink putting your life and others at risk. This unit can be used for self control a reminder of bad drinking habits and refusal to serve house hold guests anymore liquor.

Having Fun Testing Your BAC

Our daughter uses it when she partys with her friends. Her friends use it and they all compare their BAC. They enjoy the comparison and at times they were shoched by their BAC and have chosen other methods of transportation! It's working!!! Good Job!!!
