WHY THE 20 MINUTE WAIT UNTIL USE.

Makes it easier to convince a drunk to give you the keys. The 20 minute wait is to clear possibility of inaccurate readings from a breath test taken shortly after you have had a drink, even listerine. If possible, wait to test as directed and also wash your mouth out and gargle with water before your start to drive. My best advice is that anyone that needs to use one of these on a regular basis is drinking too much, but, I understand what youth and peer pressure are like. Despite what police departments may claim, some departments have equipment that may not be as exact as this tool, so be prepared to add some buffer in your readings. As i said above, i think the best use of this tool, is to help convince drunk friends, they are over the limit and could endanger the lives of innocent victims, in addition to losing their license, pay a large fine, and spend some time behind bars. Those innocent deaths they caused, they will live with regret the rest of their lives. or will if they are they 93/94 percent that have a conscious. In summary, this is an excellent tool to teach young and old, the level at which alcohol consumption disqualifies driving.

I use this product to teach myself how many drinks it takes before being at the warning level of .05 , and I really like the 3 digit display so I can tell if I'am at .049 or .041 , it's nice to have the third diget .
