This thing is excellent. I test it against an industrial unit and it is as exact as the industrial unit. I will keep one of these handy from now on. I recommend it whole-heartedly.

Well worth the investment

People always think, it's OK, I haven't had too much to drink.......now you know the answer, no guessing. This is a really important product if you drive a car and have more than one drink, you need to check. So many factors effect your alcohol levels, you really don't know until you test. I bought one for each car in my household, my families safety and the safety of others is that important.

This product has shown to be reliable. It is easy to use and puts my mind at ease knowing my BAC levels so that I know I'm not over the limit before driving.

I Only Trust it When it Says "0.00"

I've used this breathalyzer quite a few times since I've received it. I bought it because I'm in the home stretch of having an interlock in my car and want to be doubly sure that I don't fail a breath test and extend its stay in my vehicle. I learned quickly that the only accurate reading on this thing is a 0.00 after it read me at a 0.01 and I tried to drive and failed my interlock (which has a 0.025 limit). Definitely live and learn on that one. I've also tried it while out on the town just to learn where I am after however many drinks I've had and got WIDELY different readings. After 2 beers it read me as a 0.40, which last time I checked is knocking on deaths door. I tried again and I was at a 0.06, which seems more believable, but I don't trust it really either way. I've had it for probably 2 months and would hope that its not already time to recalibrate it, but maybe that's the solution to my problem. Long story short, its good for telling you if you're sober, but not good at telling you how drunk you are.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use this product to ensure my friends and I are safe to drive home after a few drinks. Prevents us from drunk driving, and is a reminder that "one more drink" is not worth it!

Good product but use correctly

If you use it too quickly after the previous time you can get false results. I've yet to figure out the minimum amount of time to wait beteween uses.
