Worth every penny.

I use this product to check my BAC before driving and have found it to be very consistent and extremely helpful in determining exactly where my safe threshold is. It was surprising to realize how heading to the car after the final swig is a bad idea. A simple 20 min wait provided a much lower BAC, from .078 immediately after 3 beers down to .045 after 20 mins. Just knowing now that 2 beers I'm good, 3 I need to wait a bit, made the purchase price worth every penny. I trust this way more than the calculator where you put in your weight, gender, hours since started drinking, and number of drinks; although its fun to compare the two during a night of drinking at home :)
Uses: At parties, eating out, when stopping for a fast one, picnics, camping, fishing, etc. Good things: pocket size, accurate, easy to read. I appreciate the extra mouth pieces. I had a friend use one and he got a ride home. The bartender sterilized the mouth piece after it was used! Bad things: none that I am aware of.
This product is excellent. Our group loves it although they might not like necessarily the fact that we use it, they have embraced this and it has already helped us determine a couple of people who have come in after drinking the night before, which helps us keep our clients safe. We can determine this and act accordingly by getting the clients a ride home and after only once, this does not occur again. I am thankful for this product in that it actually may save a life.
If you ever drink and drive (e.g. have a drink or two with dinner), then this tool is invaluable. There are so many factors that effect your blood alcohol level (e.g. how much, how fast, what you've eaten, if you were already dehydrated from exercise) that you need to know for certain before you get behind the wheel.
Use it when im outat bars and can't risk.dui.easy to use and quick and clear. Friends want one. Most don't know they were even over the limit til they try mine. Can be a bit imbarrassing to pull out. Peaople always ask.what is that implying I'm a drunk.
After receiving the Breathalyzer, I'm convinced every person who drinks alcohol should have one. From stopping for a margarita at happy hour and checking levels before leaving, to stopping someone from driving under the influence when they think they are "OK," this product has proven to be a winner. It's so easy to use and very easy to carry (fits in a purse or a glove box).
