I use the dongle option and find that the range is great!
Though this is a "gaming" headset I would recommend to anyone needing a good quality headset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far love these headphones. The elastic band is supportive and comfy. Sound quality is great. Lift to mute mic works as intended.
A few nitpicks, I wish the power/multifunction button was on the backside of the headphones instead of on the front side. Your thumb naturally touches the back of the headphones first when wearing them (where the bluetooth/dongle switch is), so its awkward to use multifunction button when wearing it. Wish there was still some adjustment in the earcup distances or the elastic band height (you can only move the elastic band up 1 notch, but not down any for smaller heads or for when it starts to wear out). You can sometimes hear the mic pickup in the speakers of the headphones, especially when breathing or blowing into the mic, but its not bad for everyday use.
Overall, a big upgrade from the previous iteration that had a design flaw which led to premature failure. So close to perfection!!!!
