Big and water tight

I set this up in my backyard and it started raining and snowing and it survived and there was no water or snow in the tent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like design but low quality.

Used 3-4 times and went to use this year and 2 poles broke. I take good care of my equipment but I can tell QC has declined with Coleman. Almost impossible to order the correct pole repair kit, have to order multiple kits to get all the parts required.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great tent but not water proof

Love the tent layout. After figuring out how to set it up, directions lacking some helpful tips.
We used it three times now. First was completely dry weekend. Second weekend light rain water came into tent. We thought it was seams so we sprayed all seams. Third weekend nice rain and yes we had a lake in tent. Water came thru side panels, we have now sprayed whole tent with repellent. Hopefully this will solve problem.. It is a shame one must go thru this; I never had this problem with my older Coleman tents.

Horrible and defective

I purchased this tent to be able to accommodate my large family. I have used it 3 times now and each time something happens. The first use, one of the tent poles snapped and the weather was not even bad. The second time, its rained and with all straps tied down, the inside of the tent still got wet including our clothes and beds. The third time, the bottom of the tent rippled where it is staked down because of wind. Because of the damage, I will not be able to use the tent again and honestly dont think I would. I am terribly disappointed that a product like this would come from coleman.

Great tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tent for several years and use it on an annual camping trip to the coast. I have had up to 6 adults overnight in the tent, and while it was close quarters, it was do-able. Usually it is just me in the tent, and it's a perfect size for me and my stuff. I also really like the hinged door on this tent.

The most tent for the money,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most tent for the money, And it has some serious quality built in, this tent has come a long way from the first cabin tent that I had, (in the early 80’s & it was a Colman too) better materials lighter wait and the best part, It Stays DRY. !!! Love it. And this comes from someone who has done some extremely camping over the years in mostly 4 season doom tents in all 4 seasons. Now I can get the family to come along.
I would recommend this to a friend!
