Awesome durability!!!

This tent withstood an 80 mph wind/sandstorm, was flung a foot off the ground with the roof against a tree for 15 minutes!!! The curved door pole suffered one break and one of the tent support poles suffered one break. Great build Coleman. Now, I just need 2 replacement poles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Their poles aren’t made like they used to be

We setup this tent and the next morning I noticed the side poles were tented and not round like it should be. The poles on both sides (the gray poles) snapped. Not even on a connection and of course punctured the pole sleeve and then tore it when we tried to take out the poles. The tent can’t be used again. It seems like a lot of people are having the same issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy

First time using the tent I thought I had hooked up the cover wrong when the pole broke. I replaced it. Our second time using this tent and now the other side broke in the same spot, so this product is defective and I don’t recommend buying it unless you want to have a project.

Side poles are garbage.

I have bought two now. First one, one pole broke second one , two poles broke over a two day camping. Poe broke on night one. Second pole broke on night too.

garbage waste of money

Tent leaking after second use, 2 tent poles split at the ends , no high heat or wind. seams there are not even replacement poles for this tent, all around fail

Spacious, weather-resistant, and easy to set up —

I recently used the Coleman Montana 8-Person Tent on a weekend camping trip with friends, and it exceeded expectations. It was super spacious — easily fit all 8 of us with room for gear. Setup was straightforward and took less than 20 minutes. The tent held up well in light rain and kept us dry all night. Ventilation was decent, and the hinged door is a great touch. It’s a bit bulky to carry, but totally worth it for comfort and weather protection. Highly recommend for families or group trips!

Big, very spacious. Can withstand heavy winds and rain. Great for a big family and/or a big group of friends. Assembly is easy as I am used to setting up tents.

Coleman tent

It is my first tent for the family of 4. It has a lot of space and feels like small home. Especially good for families with little kids. We can easily put 3-4 sleeping cots inside. It is waterproof and has windows so you can have fresh air inside. The only cons is assembly. It takes a lot of time! Ah no, the storage as well it is not easy to pack it back to the small bag.
