Nice fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this Duval 52 inch white ceiling fan indoor/outdoor. I had a fan that needed to be replaced on an outside porch. The fan was easy to install, my husband was able to do it with no issues. The fan itself runs very smooth. My only complaint would be that my old fan had a light and I wish this did as well.

Powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to rent an apartment that had a fan like this in it, and when we moved, it was hard for me to sleep without it. The gentle whirring and breeze was perfect. So when I saw this one, I had to have it. I love that it's got the big paddles and really pushes the air around. It's not loud or clunky, and it doesn't wobble like so many other ceiling fans I've owned over the years. My husband installed it, and it only took him a few minutes. It is a bit heavy, but not too bad. I brought it into the house myself when it was delivered. The breeze it delivers is very powerful, and more than enough on low to circulate air in my bedroom. I think I may get another for the living room. Between the two of them, I'm sure they can push the air conditioning throughout the entire house and I won't have to spend so much money on another window a/c unit this summer. Overall, I'm really happy with the fan.

Can’t put lights on it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well this fan, although beautiful, has one big downfall. You can’t install a light kit to it! I regretfully didn’t look up on that before I installed in my dining room and took back down after knowing that. It’sa great fan and really wanted to enjoy it in my dining room, but need a fan that lights are able to be installed into. So now it’ll be a Porch fan unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duval 52-in Bronze Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan (5-Blade) was the exact style I was looking for when I was trying to find a fan for our outdoor patio by the pool. Our patio furniture is brown rattan, and I wanted to install a fan that gave off the same laid back rattan/ island vibe. The fan blades are not rattan, but they definitely have a similar look and the blades have a cool shape that reminds me of palm leaves.
The fan has a 4 speed reversible motor and it came with two mounting options for easy install. Unfortunately, the fan does not come with a remote control but it does have a pull chain. The blades were super simple to attach as was the mounting.
The blade material is a lot lighter and thinner than it looks, but it seems to be holding up very well and it provides a significant amount of air circulation on our patio. We have ours installed under a covered patio, and it is holding up just fine in the hot and rainy weather. It's very quiet and doesn't make the constant squeaky sounds that you can experience with many other fans. It is easy to use, and It has definitely made sitting outside on hot days so much more enjoyable! I'd highly recommend this fan to friends and family. It's stylish and functional and has added so much to our outdoor space!

It works great for almost any size room or patio. The circulation is fantastic, it keeps the entire area very comfortable. The motor is very quiet too, you can't hear it whatsoever. I highly recommend this fan for anyone wanting to give their space a wonderful addition!

What a nice addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this fan a couple days ago for our outdoor seating area . We did t want anything too crazy but wants a functional sharp looking fan. This one was perfect, the blades were large and really gave a nice breeze. It looked great spinning outdoors and I wasn’t worried about the weather as it says it’s a outdoor/indoor fan. The only draw back at least for the one i got was there is no light. I’m sure it’s an add on or another model with one but we didn’t even think about it. Also don’t judge the item by the packaging, when we first got it I got nervous because the packaging just made it look old or dated. Once we got it unpacked I could tell that was not the case. I would highly recommend this fan or one I this line for any indoor or outdoor setting. Install was super easy, quick on off blades made it a snap to put together.
